The recent groundbreaking ceremony for Ameyalli, a premier wellbeing resort to feature residences, a 50,000 square-foot Ameyalli Wellbeing Center, re-activated hot springs, a boutique hotel, and farm-to-table dining in the heart of Midway, Utah drew a crowd of approximately 200 people. City leaders, neighbors, and Heber Valley Chamber members witnessed the groundbreaking and listened to remarks by:

  • Charles Heath, Managing Partner and Founder of Ameyalli
  • Deepak Chopra, Founder of the Chopra Foundation, via video
  • Justin Nahama, Chopra Foundation COO
  • Midway Mayor Celeste Johnson
  • Cheryl Fox, CEO of Summit Lands Conservancy

Fifty of the site’s 78 acres will be designated open space to protect view sheds.

“Given the great extent to which we involved the City of Midway and the community during the planning process coupled with our environmentally sensitive, low-profile design and expansive, protected open space, we have experienced overwhelming enthusiasm for this unparalleled destination,” says Heath. “Our wellbeing-centric resort and its programming in collaboration with Deepak Chopra will provide an unrivaled, transformative experience for locals, homeowners, and destination visitors.”
